Karachi: NAPA hosts theatre and music festival

(Dunya News) – Theatre, music and performing arts are an integral part of a society. Bringing all this under one roof, Karachi’s National Academy of Performing Arts organised a colourful theatre and music festival.

The festival which opened in Karachi on Thursday features many prominent artists from around the world where they will perform live in front of the audience.

The first day of the festival kicked off with a performance from Pakistan’s famous classical dancer Nahid Saddiqui, who mesmerised the audiences with her classical dance. Ustaad Nafees Ahmed played sitar during the performance.

International artists participating in the festival said that they were excited to be in Karachi and looked forward to performing before Karachi’s audience.

This thirteen-day festival will bring in artists from Pakistan, Germany, America, Palestine, Britain, Switzerland, U.A.E and Iran. The festival will end on March 31.
