(Dunya News) – Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Wednesday has recovered whopping Rs2 million in terms of tax from renowned singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
The tax-collection watchdog has also seized account of the singer over non-payment of tax.
As per details, Mr Khan was obliged to pay income tax worth Rs3.2 million, which he failed to comply with, and as a result a recovery was made and bank account was seized.
It is not the first time that Khan’s account has been seized by FBR. Back then in 2017, his accounts were seized over non-payment of Rs3.348 million in terms of tax.
