Summary American societys fashion icon Barbie, a fashion doll, is celebrating her 52nd birth anniversary.
Barbie has been a symbol of fashion in the American society over decades and 90% girls in the United States have at least one Barbie doll. First Barbie movie, ‘Barbie and the Rockers: Out of this World’, was released in 1987 and audiences were mesmerised by the character representation of their favourite doll. Second movie of the Barbie series, ‘Barbie and The Sensations: Rockin Back to Earth’ gave a larger-than-life image to Barbie brand. The 3D technology gave a new look to the Barbie animated movies and amplified the doll’s popularity.
