Summary Eminent Bollywood personalities thronged the birthday bash of actor Shahid Kapoor in entertainment capital Mumbai city.The who's-who of the film industry attended the event and congratulated Kapoor on turning 30.
Kapoor, known for his chocolate-boy looks, came unaccompanied at the venue, and interacted with mediapersons. I am feeling great and very happy. I am going to spend it with some friends and turning 30 is a big occasion and I am remembering a lot of good memories right now, and I am very happy to be here. I usually dont throw parties and do stuff like that but this time I felt that it is the right time to do it, and I have called all the people I have worked with, and all the people who have been a part of my life, he said.Veteran actresses Raveena Tandon and Sridevi, flanked by her husband filmmaker Boney Kapoor, made appearances at the event.Shahid Kapoor, considered one of the most promising stars of Bollywood, said he is still a boy at heart. I am a boy in my heart and I have always been a boy and always will be a boy. It feels like a new chapter in life is beginning. Everybody who has entered 30 tells me that, you have entered the best years of your life. So I am hoping that they are right about it, he said.Bollywood actors like Aamir Khan, Ritesh Deshmukh, Sonam Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Anushka Sharma, along with filmmakers like Vishal Bhardwaj, Kiran Rao, Kunal Kohli and Karan Johar were seen also seen at the party. According to local media reports, Kapoors birthday party was cut short when locals called the cops, complaining of the loud music and noise. Police officials soon arrived at the party venue, and the guests and host were seen heading towards their cars.
