Summary Matthew Williamson combined nature and futuristic themes in a playful show at London Fashion Week on Sunday.
The British designer said he was inspired by a Russian artist who creates futuristic mirrored sculptures and places them in nature to create a sparkling explosion of colours while still remaining conservative with subdued hues. Reds and pinks were matched together in a standout shift dress with a belted waist as well as a jacket-and-trousers combination.
