Summary Chinese dance show The Charm of Dunhuang was staged in Podgorica, capital of Montenegro.The show was held jointly by Montenegro Ministry of Culture and Chinese Embassy in the Republic of Montenegro and the mayor of Podgorica watched the show.
The Charm of Dunhuang is a large dance show of three acts performed by Gansu Opera House. Based on folk tales and fresco stories on Mogao Grotto murals at Dunhuang, the show illustrates the cream and grandeur of the Dunhuang culture through a combination of songs, music and dances.It can be seen in the scenes of Flying Apsaras Refound, Pipa Played from the Back, Thousand-hand Bodhisattva, and the Dunhuang in an Age of Prosperity.The opera is in the series of Happy Spring Festival Activities organized by the Chinese Ministry of Culture.
