Summary The 20th edition of the Taj Mahotasav (Taj festival) began with fanfare and gaiety near the famous Taj Mahal in India's northern Uttar Pradesh.
The 10-day-long art and cultural extravaganza is being organized at Shilp Gram ground in Agra city, barely 200 metres from the Taj Mahal. The venue sparkled with lights, and performances depicting the dance of Hindu god Lord Krishna and his consort were the highlights of the inaugural day.Bollywood singers like Sunidhi Chauhan, Kailash Kher, Shubha Mudgal, and Richa Sharma would be performing during the festival. Nearly 400 artisans are displaying their wares in the festival.
