Summary Two-day special festival for the fans of Gazal concluded at Alhamra Art Centre. According to Dunya News, famous singers performed on the occasion by singing prominent poetry.
The festival was organized by Lahore Arts Council in which famous singers, Taranum Naz, Nooran and Humaira Channa presented tribute to Melody Queen Noor Jahan by singing her evergreen gazals. Late folk singer Tufail Niazi’s sons Javed and Babar Niazi rejoiced the audience by singing gazals in folk style.Meanwhile, famous singer of Patiala Family, Hamid Ali Khan mesmerized the audience by singing famous gazals.At the end, the performers demanded the government’s support to keep alive the art of gazal by organizing weekly Gazal’s gatherings.
