Summary Bollywood producers have decided not to release big budget films due to World Cup 2011.
According to Indian film makers and director during the Word Cup their films will not make a huge business, therefore, the big budget films will be released after the event. They said that although the January-April period is a low season for Bollywood every year due to academic examination cycle yet it has to fight off the additional baggage of cricket World Cup taking out audiences starting mid-February.On the other hand, small-budget films to be launched every week over the next three months, hoping to sustain viewership despite cricket World Cup and Indian Premier League (IPL) grabbing consumer eyeballs.
