Jason Statham's new action thriller The Mechanic has been released worldwide. The Mechanic is directed by Simon West. In the Simon West-directed redo, the English actor plays Arthur Bishop, a mysterious New Orleans-based assassin who has a knack for eliminating targets without a trace. When his friend and contact Harry (Donald Sutherland) unexpectedly gets whacked, he takes Harry's troubled son (Ben Foster) under his wing to teach him the murder-for-hire trade.
