Summary
Once again, Shah Rukh Khan is under attack from the Shiv Sena. The party has targeted the Bollywood star for accepting invitation to a programme that a Pakistan television channel will host and telecast from London on Sunday. On Friday, the Sena mouthpiece Saamna slammed Khan in a front-paged news article. It is inappropriate for Khan to be part of the event when India is observing the second anniversary of the 26/11 terror attacks, the report said. The report said Khan would participate in a programme called A Gala Dinner with Shahrukh Khan at Park Plaza near Westminster Bridge in London on Sunday. Prime TV, a channel from Pakistan that has operations in United Kingdom and rest of Europe, will air the show. As per marketing advertisements on the Internet, Prime TV Events would provide guests with a chance to interact with and get up-close and personal with Khan. The event also offers a five-course meal, an exclusive fashion show as well as live singing, dance performances and a charity auction. Tickets for the show are 100-150.
