The first day of India Couture week started with a big bang in entertainment capital Mumbai. All eyes were on actor Aishwarya Rai, who walked the ramp in designer Manish Malhotra's bridal collection. The collection comprised colourful bridal trousseaus, along with ethnic Indian jewellery. Malhotra's Bollywood friends, Abhishek Bacchan, his mother Jaya Bacchan, Karan Johar and Sonam Kapoor, added glitter to the show. The audience seemed thrilled to see Aishwarya Rai walk the ramp after a very long time. The show ended with Aishwarya, the showstopper for the evening, showcasing the gorgeous outfits from Malhotra's collection. Malhotra said each show was special to him even though he had done a number of shows.The five-day-long event will end on Sunday
