Govinda established an idol of Lord Ganesh at his office. It was double whammy for Bollywood actor Salman Khan as his film 'Dabangg' made waves since its release on Friday. The Ganesh Chaturthi festival is celebrated in the western states of Maharashtra and Gujarat, where hundreds of thousands of Ganesh idols are created. Within a week of the festival, the idols are immersed in water bodies such as the sea, wells, tanks, ponds and rivers.
