Summary

Between June 24 and 27 the tiny Danish town of Herning stands host to the world's largest dogshow. More than 19,000 entries from 54 countries come to compete and of course show off at the venue during four days of barking, sniffing and howling. The Golden Retrivers were in majority of contenders tightly followed by the Labradors and the Franch Bulldogs. But there are rare breeds present as well, some of them with names very rarely heard of such as Slovakian Wire-haired Pointing Dog and Bohemian Wire-haired Pointing Griffon. One event is the police dogs's demonstrations of their work infront of the audience. Another police dog was looking for large amounts of cash hidden in one of the travel suite cases spread across the floor. The show host was very eager to help the dog find the right bag. The different groups of competing range from the puppy class with dogs aged 6-9 months to the veteran class dogs aged 8 years and up. There are also groups for obedience and progeny, all covered by 81 judges.
