Summary Supreme Court has said that Punjab Govt is not making appointments on key post despite court orders.
A full bench of the Supreme Court Lahore registry heard appeal against contractual appointment of Vice Chancellor University of Health Sciences (UHS) Dr Mubashar Hassan.The bench, in its remarks, said that the apex court has given number of verdicts against ad-hocism but vice chancellor King Edward University(KEU) is still working on contract.Pro-Vice Chancellors of KEU and USH are not being appointed for the last two years, the court said.The court while rejecting the request of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) to become the party in this case andadjourned hearing of the case till March 12.
