Summary Supreme Court has suspended the removal order of Vice Chancellor of University of Health Science.
When Justice Tasaddaq Hussain Jilani and Justice Saqib Nisar started hearing of the case, the Advocate General Punjab Ashter Ausaf told that court that the Lahore High Court has declared the appointment of UHS Vice Chancellor Dr Mubashar Hasan by contract as null and void.The advocate general was further of the view that the contract of Dr Mubashar was not extended; rather he was appointed by new contract which absolutely is not violation of law.The rival counsel said that appointment of Dr Mu basher Hassan is clear cut violation of the law.The court after hearing arguments from both sides ordered Mubashar Hassan to continue his job while government of Punjab and other parties have been ordered to submit their replies on March 6.
