Summary LHC has declared appointment of University of Health Sciences Vice Chancellor null and void.
Two-member bench of comprising Justice Shahid Saeed Chaudhry and Justice Abdul Waheed conducted hearing of the writ petition in this regard.The court was told that the appointment of the University of Health Sciences’ VC is illegal as no retired officer can be recruited on contract.The court after hearing arguments from both sides declared the appointment of VC as null and void.
