Interactive displays and live experiments, some of which involved robotics, hydraulics and electrical circuits, were conducted by the students as well as six science organisations from across Pakistan, including Learn-o-Bots, Stemmers, Numerica, Pakistan Science Club, AZ Corps and Sabaq.
Organisers said that with Swat being at the receiving end of extremism and violence during 2007 to 2009, opportunities for girls to access education had decreased but now this was in its recovery phase.
