Summary Intel Pakistan organized “Intel Education Award Ceremony” here in Islamabad on Wednesday.

 

ISLAMABAD:-In order to appreciate and encourage teachers to use technology to enhance their skills amongst students, Intel Pakistan organized “Intel Education Award Ceremony” here on Wednesday.

 

This program was organized under the Intel Education Initiative, to recognize the impressive performance of outstanding schools and teachers across Pakistan.

 

The participants in the Intel Teach Program contest, about 15 won awards, in recognition of their accomplishments in implementing technology to promote inquiry-based learning.

 

At this occasion, Naveed Siraj, Country Manager, Intel Pakistan said that teachers and schools that were able to integrate technology seamlessly into the curriculum deserved to be rewarded for their innovative teaching practices.

 

He said from the last few years, we have noticed teachers motivate and transform their students by making them use technology as a tool to enhance their skills, empowering them to compete in the real world.

 

“Intel Pakistan and the government work in sync with each other to train teachers across the nation to develop technology proficiency, a necessity for the 21st century.”


It is pertinent to mention here that the Intel Education Awards are held annually in Pakistan to celebrate, and reiterate, the importance of technology in the classroom.

The Intel Teach Program is designed to enable teachers to effectively use technology to enhance student learning in the digital world.

 

Intel to date has trained more than 325,000 teachers in Pakistan, reaching out to over 75 cities and districts of Pakistan, focusing on integrating technology and modern teaching methods in the teaching and learning process in Pakistan.
