Summary Punjab govt is going to start e-education in all government primary schools.

The main purpose to start this program is to facilitate the students and to reduce the burden of books.Education Commission has completed the content and summary would be soon sent to Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif for final approval.Minister Education Punjab Mian Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman has said that education is the top priority of the provincial government and the government has taken new initiative in the field of education during four years.He said that private educational institutions are playing vital role in promoting quality education in the province.He said that Punjab Government has spent Rs. 19 billion during last four years to provide missing facilities in 8749 schools of the province, whereas, Rs. 5 billion will be spent during current fiscal year for provision of missing facilities in two thousand schools.He said that amount for endowment fund has been increased upto Rs. 10 billion. He said that Rs. One billion stipends is being distributed in the girl students belonging to remote and deprived areas to encourage female education. He said that 8 Daanish schools are being opened up during current fiscal year in less developed areas of the province.Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman told that Punjab Government has provided a sum of Rs. 10 billion to promote school education in the banished strata and 1.5 million deserving students in the 36 districts would be benefited. He told that a sum of Rs. 46 billion will be spent on the school education sector to elevate it according to international standards.He further said that more than 30 lakh children had been given admission in the schools as a result of primary enrolment campaign launched by the Punjab Government.He said that government is also awarding scholarships to thousands of talented students for studying in the country and abroad.He told that 25 lakh boy and girl students are getting computer education every year in the province through IT promotion program of Chief Minister Punjab.
