Summary Lions Clubs International is to launch Reading Action Program in more than 200 countries.

Addressing a reception hosted in his honor by Karachi Executives Lions Club, the Head of LCI, Pakistan, Mirza Raza Ali said through “Reading Action Program”, early reading habits will be developed among children and innovative projects including libraries will also be initiated.The event was attended by the District Governor Samina Sikander, District Governor, Ayesha Malik, Fasih ul Karim Siddiqui, Past District Governor, Huma Bukhari, Bushra Raza, and Baquar Bukhari the Lions dignitaries.Head of LCI, Pakistan, Mirza Raza Ali said addressing the ceremony that Lions Clubs in Pakistan is also focusing on free cataract surgeries, free education and other free health care activities for the needy.On the occasion, Wasim Hashmi elaborated the annual project plan of the club.He said that the club would initiate a mega ration project in the first week of Ramazan catering to more than 2000 needy people.
