Summary About 23 Pakistani scholars have got scholarships to study in US varsities for PHD programmes.
These scholarships have been given by a US Agency for International Development (USAID)whose Mission Director John Kanley said that it is the education by which Pakistan may walk on the way to progress and prosperity.In this regard, a special ceremony was held in Islamabad where 23 Pakistani professors belonging to different universities were given scholarships.Mission Directors while addressing the ceremony said that terrorism and extremism may be eliminated out of country, adding that these scholars would serve their country in better way.All of them would have to meet very hard and complicated criteria in order to prove them eligible for said scholarships.
