GUJRANWALA (Dunya News) – Two alleged outlaws were killed by their own accomplices during ‘encounters’ with police, whereas as many suspected criminals were injured and arrested in different areas here on Tuesday.

Police said accused identified as Ahmad Qaiser was killed by his own accomplices in an exchange of fire with police. He was involved in 25 cases of heinous crimes.

Kamoke Police said a suspected criminal, Safyan, was also killed from the firing of his own accomplices during shootouts with police.

In another 'encounter', suspected outlaws Haris and Rawwal were arrested. They were injured in the encounter. The dead and the injured were shifted to hospital. Weapons and looted goods were seized from them. Further investigation was underway.
