According to rescue officials, the injured youth was shifted in critical condition from Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Pattoki to Lahore. The victim was identified as 22-year-old Farooq, who sustained serious injuries in the firing incident.
Rescue sources said that the woman fled the scene after the incident, while initial reports suggest that she is a close relative of the injured man.
The victim’s mother stated that the woman was a relative who had been pressuring her son for marriage.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are searching for the suspect.
