Summary Nine suspects were killed in as many different encounters in two months

BUREWALA (Dunya News) – The Burewala Police killed nine robbers, injured two and arrested four others in nine different encounters in the last two months, the Vehari district police chief told media on Thursday.

Addressing a press conference in circle office Burewala, the DPO said the police traced the suspects of three blind murders in two different cases, arrested 45 members of 15 gangs and recovered materials worth Rs10.7million.

During a campaign against fugitives, 323 were arrested, comprising 22 A-category criminals and other 301 were B-category criminals.

Police recovered items worth Rs31m by tracing 269 property dispute cases. Moreover, 68kg of Marijuana, 1.6kg of heroine, 4815 liters of alcohol were also seized.
