Police recover heavy weapons meant for terrorism use in Khyber raid

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) - Khyber Police have recovered a large weapons cache hidden in Jabba Azgo Kanda, meant for use in terrorism.

District Police Officer Dr Muhammad Iqbal said in a press conference that Khyber police launched intelligence based secret operations, as a result of which, a large weapons cache was recovered.

The weapons recovered included rocket launchers, cartridges, 10 mortar shells, 3 Dynamite sticks, 21 mortar fuses, 303 mix cartridges, 65 30-bore TT89 and various others.

The DPO said that search operations are underway against the terrorists and Khyber Police will continue operations against terror elements in the area.
