Police arrest two madrassa teachers for torturing children in Karachi

KARACHI (Dunya News) - Mominabad police in Karachi have arrested two teachers of a madrassa for torturing children.

A video of inhumane treatment of a madrassa student girl came to light a day before. After the video surfaced, District West Police began searching for the abusive teacher.

Examination of the video revealed that the video was one and a half years old. A madrassa teacher named Farid tortured a girl at a madrassa in Orangi Town.

During the interrogation, it was revealed that on August 9 this month, a teacher named Ali Syed tortured 6-year-old Hamza in the madrassa for not memorizing the lesson.

According to police officials, police have registered a case against the two madrassa teachers Farid and Ali Syed on the complaint of father of the victim and arrested both the teachers.
