ASI, head constable shot dead in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Motorcycle riding unidentified men opened fire at police checkpoint in premises of police station Tarnol and killed two on duty personnel.

Taking notice of the incident, IG Islamabad cancelled Eid holidays of SHO and DSP of the area and formed two investigative teams. He also ordered immediate arrest of the accused.

ASI Mohsin Zafar was stationed at a checkpoint with other personnel. A man named Jamshaid was stopped at the check post and a gun was recovered from him.

Unknown men opened fire at police when they were transporting Jamshaid to police station.
