Huge cache of drugs seized in joint maritime operation

KARACHI (Dunya News) – Pakistan Customs and Maritime Security Agency seized two boats filled with drugs during an operation carried out in open sea.

Addressing a press conference, Deputy DG Maritime Security Agency Air Commodore Jawad Ahmed said that in a joint operation on April 26, two boats of smugglers which were filled with drugs were seized.

Recovered drugs which are worth more than Rs14.5 billion include 2410 kg hashish, 133 kg brown crystal and 181 kg Ice. 16 criminals including 11 foreigners were also arrested during the operation.
