124 arrested for profiteering in Peshawar

PESHAWAR (Dunya News) – Administration of Peshawar has arrested 124 people for violation of coronavirus lockdown and profiteering.

According to district administration, violators of lockdown and profiteers were arrested during crackdown in various areas of the district.

Authorities have directed business owners to close their shops by 4pm.

Coronavirus cases continue to rise in the province despite partial lockdown imposed by government to control spread of the deadly virus. So far, KP has confirmed 1864 cases and 98 deaths from novel coronavirus.
