LAHORE (Web Desk) – Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar on Tuesday took notice of deaths of suspects by torture under police custody.
CM Punjab expressed anger over police torture incidents and ordered strict departmental and legal action against the police officials involved in such heinous crime.
Usman Buzdar instructed IG Punjab to take legal action against the culprits. He said any illegal action would be unacceptable.
CM said our law does not allow inhumane acts of torture, adding that custodian of law cannot be allowed to take law into their hands. He warned that concerned SP would be responsible in such incidents happened in future.
