20-year-old girl released after alleged ransom payment of Rs1 crore

KARACHI (Dunya News) – A 20-year-old girl – Bisma – returned home after her family allegedly paid a ransom of Rs1 crore, Dunya News reported on Sunday.

Bismah – daughter of a businessman – was kidnapped on May 11 from Khayaban-e-Seher, Defence Housing Authority.

The details suggest that police could not rescue the girl even eight days after her abduction despite tracing her mobile phone location. A CCTV footage was also obtained which showed the girl being abducted in a car.

Bismah retured her home on Sunday night (May 19). The sources have revealed that the abductors left the girl at an unknown place after allegedly receiving the ransom money.
