TANK (Dunya News) - A man, allegedly due to suffering from abject poverty, on Tuesday morning killed his wife, two daughters and a son, and consequently committed suicide in Qazianwala area of Tank city in Dera Ismail Khan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
According to police, deceased identified as Syed Rasool was a goldsmith by profession and was suffering from severe depression due to financial crisis.
Subsequently, he killed his family members, including his wife Musmata Haleema bibi, 15-year-old Kiran, 18-year-old Sulaiman and 20-year-old Sobia.
Furthermore, two other people Umaira and Usman also sustained critical injuries.
Meanwhile, further investigation into the incident is underway.
