Sargodha (Online): An influential landlord has allegedly shot dead laborer Naseer Ahmad over demanding his due wages.
According to media reports, Naseer Ahmad was building the house of a landlord namely Ahmad Bux, in an area near Salam.
Ahmad Bux had promised to give his wages before Eidul Azha but on demand by Naseer Ahmad the landlord refused to pay the wages and Naseer Ahmad insisted for wages to buy clothes of his children for Eidul Azha. At these following altercations Ahmad Bux shot Nasser Ahmad dead.
Relatives of the victim staged a protest by putting dead body on Motorway Interchange, as the police have not yet arrested the culprit.
They demanded the arrest of landlord Naseer Ahmad as soon as possible.
Thana Phularwan police said that following postmortem a case will be registered against the landlord Ahmad Bux.
