LAHORE (Dunya News) – An accused in a fraud case escaped from Lahore High Court’s (LHC) premises on Tuesday after dismissal of his bail plea.
Justice Mazhar Ali Akbar Naqvi conducted hearing on suspect Zaheer Abbas petition. The suspect is accused of giving bounce cheque worth Rs1 crore 31 lac.
The investigation officer told court that petitioner has been found guilty in the probe.
The court after hearing arguments rejected the bail plea of the accused who later dodged the police and disappeared from the court premises in the presence of the investigation officer of the case.
