Dozens of people attended the funeral prayer of victim Mubashara after which the enraged locals forcibly shut down the shops in protest.
They also chanted slogans against police personnel for not arresting the culprits.
Afterwards, Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shehbaz Sharif took notice of the incident and directed CPO to submit report in 24 hours.
It is to be mentioned here that as many as three incidents of the same nature have occurred in Jaranwala in only 10 days.
