LAHORE (Dunya News) – Police personnel have arrested as many as 51 kite sellers and flyers during operation in parts of Lahore.
Deputy Inspector General (DIG) operations Dr Haider Ashraf directed all the divisional SPs to form special teams and launch crackdown against the kite flyers and sellers.
The officers have lodged a case against the detainees and also recovered more than 3000 kites and 40 strings from them.
DIG operations said that no one will be allowed to fly kites in the metropolis and also asked the parents to keep their children away from this deadly game.
