KARACHI (Dunya News) – The first incident of extortion during 2018 reported in Karachi on Thursday where one man was killed for not giving money despite life threats.
According to details, the crime took place at Karachi’s Cloth Market. The extortionists had threatened the shopkeepers to give money.
When the shopkeepers refused to pay them anything, extortionists hit the Cloth Market with hand grenade attack.
The attack caused several causalities as one man died while four others received injuries. It is worth mentioning that the extortion practices in Karachi had decreased after successive operations in the metropolitan.
This is the first incident of extortion reported in 2018.
