KARACHI (Dunya News) – CCTV on Wednesday revealed that a female student was robbed in the Gulistan-e-Johar, raising terror in the area that is already stricken with a number of stabbing incidents that have been reported recently.
The footage showed a robber on a bike trying to stop two female students walking on the road. In a fit on terror, one of the girls started running, while the other one was robbed as the robbers snatched away the girl’s bag and mobile phone. The girl fell down and was dragged on the street as she tried to hold on to her bag.
The incident has been reported at a time when the Karachi police claimed to have deployed additional security in the area in order to catch the ‘knifeman’.
