KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police officers on Saturday have revealed that two more families have identified suspect Musarrat who kidnapped newborn from Qatar hospital in Karachi.
According to details, the families approached security officials after watching news of infants’ abduction on television and claimed that the same woman had kidnapped their children from Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and Qatar Hospital.
Earlier, with the help of CCTV footage, police detained the suspect from a hospital after child’s grandmother spotted her and recovered the missing newborn from Sohrab Goth.
Police also arrested four women and seven men in connection with the case.
Suspects being presented in local court
According to police, the suspects belonging to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Swat Valley were rounded up in Manghopir area of Karachi on Friday.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
