Summary District administration took action after the news was aired on Dunya TV, seven involved arrested
PESHAWAR: (Dunya News) – District administration has on Thursday arrested seven people allegedly involved in making chicken’s feed with animal blood upon the story aired by Dunya News.
The district administration sealed the illegal factory allegedly involved in the process located on the Dumping Ground land located in Hazaar Khawani area on Ring Road. The blood was being openly used for making the feed while the wastes of houses and hospitals were being used as fuel at the factory.
Additional Assistant Commissioner of Peshawar Syed Shahzaib visited the scene along with the Environment department team and arrested seven people upon the violation of health and hygiene rules under Environment Act.
The environment and district administration teams will jointly probe the arrested suspects and the details of this chicken feed being made at this illegal factory will also be obtained.
