LAHORE (Daily Dunya) – At least 115 kite sellers and kite buyers have been arrested in a crackdown in Lahore on Sunday.

According to details, the security personnel have detained 12 suspects from City Division, 36 from Cantt Division, 18 from Civil Lines, 15 from Sadar Division, 5 from Model Town while 29 were taken into custody from Iqbal Town.

The officers have also recovered 8102 kites and 233 kite strings.

According to DIG operations Dr Haider Ashraf, no one will be allowed to fly kites in the metropolis while strict action would be taken against the violators.
