Summary Two dacoits were killed in an alleged police encounter in Allama Iqbal Town area of Lahore on Sunday
LAHORE (Dunya News) – According to details, the dacoits were fleeing after committing a robbery in Allama Iqbal Town area on Sunday when they were intercepted by CIA Iqbal Town police. The dacoits opened fire at the police party. Police returned the fire as a result two dacoits were killed while another managed to escape.
Police have recovered arms and a motorcycle from the dead dacoits and sent their bodies to mortuary. Police sources said that one of the dead dacoits was also involved in killing police officials at a check post in 2016.
