LAHORE (Dunya News) – An implacable person tortured his pregnant wife to death in Icchra area of Lahore on Sunday.
The victim, Sundus, married Shehbaz three years ago and have a two-year-old boy Ayyan. There was often a domestic dispute between the couple.
Shehbaz used to force her wife to bring money from her parents.
On the incident day, Shehbaz and Sundus s in-laws tortured her after which she was shifted to Services Hospital.
However, Sundus succumbed to her injuries later.
The culprit managed to escape from the scene after committing the crime. Police have shifted the dead body to the dead house for autopsy.
A plea has been submitted in police station for case registration by Sundus s family.
In another incident, some unidentified persons opened fire in Garhi Shahu area and injured two people. The victims were shifted to Ganga Ram Hospital for treatment. Police have reached the spot and started investigation.
