Summary Police contingent reached the area and transferred the injured girl to the Mayo Hospital
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A 7-year-old girl was injured as a result of an exchange of fire that took place in Lahore’s Nolakha area between drug dealers and Dolphin Force officers. Police officials arrested one officer of the Dolphin Force after the incident, reported Dunya News.
Police officials state that the incident took place at the Pathi ground where drug dealers opened fire at Dolphin Force officers. The officers fired back at the drug dealers but Hadia, who was passing by from the scene, got injured in the process.
Police contingent reached the area and transferred the injured girl to the Mayo Hospital. Drug dealer named Khalid was apprehended whereas Superintendent Police (SP) Mujahid Squad Syed Qarar Hussain stated that Khalid’s was a former record holder.
Dolphin Force officer was also apprehended after the incident and investigation of the matter has been initiated. Punjab Inspector General (IG) Mushtaq Sukhera has taken notice of the incident and has demanded report of the event from the Mujahid Squad.
