KARACHI (Dunya News) – East Police have busted a gang of dacoits and released a trader held hostage for them, reported Wednesday.
Senior Superintendent of Police Faisal Abdullah said that the criminals kidnapped a trader named Shakeel Siddique at gunpoint from Meena Bazar in PIB Colony area.

A demand of Rs 0.4 million ransom was put forth by the gang and as soon as a criminal named Rizwan reached Malir 15 to collect the money, he was arrested.
Later on, the police said that Suleman Kazmi and Uzair Kazmi were arrested on Rizwan’s tipoff.
However, one of the kidnappers named Muzaffar Nawaz managed to escape the raid.
