ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Police and intelligence agencies conducted a search operation in the jurisdiction of Baru Kahu police station and apprehended three suspects carrying weapons wheeras Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) was able to detain a human smuggler from Rawalpindi, reported Dunya News.
Police officials along with members of intelligence agencies conducted search operations in Dhok Jilani, Madina Town and other areas that come under the jurisdiction of Bara Kahu police station for over four hours.
After searching almost 100 houses, three suspects named Shakeel, Mohammad Nadeem and Sohail were arrested.
Weapons belonging to the suspects were confiscated whereas all three of them were transferred to the Bara Kahu police station for interrogation.
Federal Investigation Agecny’s Anti-smuggling cell detained a human smuggler by the name of Riasat Ali after conducting a raid near Rawalpindi’s Chandni Chowk area. Four passports, fake documents and stamps were retrieved from the culprit.
Riasat Ali was able to make millions of rupees as a result of tricking individuals about sending them to Dubai and other countries. The perpetrator was transferred to the Anti-human smuggling cell for further investigation.
