KARACHI (Dunya News) – Operation against criminal activities in Karachi is successfully continued as police officers arrested at least two absconders wanted in as many as 30 cases and recovered arms, drugs and stolen bikes, reported on Tuesday.
According to details, police personnel raided the area of Gulshan Iqbal and detained two absconders during snap checking while 2 kg charas, two stolen motorcycles and arms were also confiscated from the possession of the criminals.
Sources told that the suspects identified as Siddiq alias Builder and Mir Hassan alias Meeru confessed to have snatched more than one thousand mobile phones.
Police officers have also told that the suspects were wanted in 30 cases.
On September 2013, law enforcement agencies started targeted operation against extortionists, target killers and terrorists. The agencies have claimed that more than 9000 criminals have been arrested from different localities of the city so far.
