KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police late Friday night took 12 alleged suspects into custody during a search operation conducted in Karachi’s Hijarat Colony and its surrounding areas. Ammunition was also recovered from the suspects.
According to the details, police conducted the operation on information of presence of criminal elements in the area. Entry and exit points of the area were blocked during the operation while specific homes were searched.
Those taken into custody have been shifted to Wasal police station where interrogation being conducted by the suspects.
Meanwhile Pirabad police conducted action in Mianwali Colony and arrested a street criminal Alam Shah. Ammunition, stolen motorcycle and other items were recovered from the felon.
On the other hand, a dead body was found from Orangi Town. According to the police, the expired individual had committed suicide.
