KARACHI (Dunya News) – Police late Tuesday night managed to apprehend two suspects during raids conducted in several areas of the city.
According to the details, a felon was arrested in injured condition after an alleged encounter with the police in Pirabad area. According the police, the suspect Shehzad is a close relative of notorious drug dealer Waheed. Ammunition was also recovered from the suspect.
Meanwhile another suspect, Imran alias Kala was captured from Landhi Eidgah ground during police action. Police say bomb-making equipment has been recovered from the suspect.
On the other hand, 2 people were injured in separate incidents of firing. An individual named Manzoor was injured when firing occurred during a clash between 2 groups in Defence Phase 5 area. According to the police, the incident seems to be a case of personal enmity while another person, Arshad Chana, belonging to a nationalist party succumbed to his wounds in Jinnah Hospital. Chana was injured earlier during a firing incident.
Meanwhile a woman was injured by firing in a residential building of Liaqatabad’s Super Market area. According to the police, the incident seems to be a case of suicide attempt.
